Tony Bayard de Volo has over seven years of legal experience. He has
structured over $200 million in private placements, including both
public and private offerings, provided comprehensive securities law
advise and drafted registration statements for IPO’s and other public
offerings. Additionally, he has provided legal and tax services on
many real estate partnership syndications. His transactional experience
includes fund formations, private equity investments, mergers and
acquisitions, real estate tax law, including formation of real estate
investment fund formations, private equity investments, mergers and
acquisitions, real estate tax law, including formation of real estate
investment companies, asset-backed securitizations, and bridge financing.
He is well versed with federal and blue sky regulatory filings, preparation
of partnership tax returns, and LLC operating agreements.

Attorney
Bayard de Volo began his career in 1996 as a tax attorney for Coopers
& Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers) at their Boston office. He
joined the national firm of Kirkland & Ellis in 1998 as a corporate
attorney where he worked on large transactions including public offerings,
private equity investments and mergers and acquisitions. From there,
attorney Bayard de Volo returned to his native California to work
for a large orange country law firm representing high tech and many
dot-com companies where he acted as lead associate on initial public
offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and other large transactions
as well as structuring preferred stock placements and other private
equity investments, buy-back agreements, shareholder agreements, conducting
board and shareholder meetings, and handling all aspects of contract
and corporate matters. Attorney Bayard de Volo opened his own law
firm in San Jose in 2003. |
